- Elsa received an SG1 and her KKL2 under Johannes Grewe at the Green County Schutzhund
Club's Trial, Conformation Show and Breed Survey. My thanks to Dean and Karla Calderon

- WOW, I just got back from the WUSV 2008 Championships. I had a great time and spent it
helping the Czech Team with whatever they needed. See our group photo on the home page!
After two months with Vasek, one month with Jana and Janicka, and 10 days with the other
team members and their spouses, I've gained many more friends who are like family to me.
- September 27, 2008. Elsa earned her SchH1 title under SV Judge and Vice President Heiko
Grube with a score of 81/82/87P. Viggo also trialed for his SchH1, but again blew two of
the dumbbell exercises and lost too many points in Obedience to pass. Otherwise he did
pretty good with a score of 79/65/87P.
- September 15, 2008. We are very excited to have Jana Hořejší and her daughter Janicka
visiting us for the next month. Jana and her husband own the Art z Lipin Kennel in the Czech
Republic, and she is the team captain for the 2008 WUSV Czech National Team. Jana also
brought Dragon Bohemia Abakan to the US to stand at stud for one year. He's a very nice
dog, who loves to work and will be available to approved females for breeding.
- August 17, 2008. We are pleased to welcome Vaclav Plasil from the Czech Republic, who has
come to help us with our training during the next two months. Vaclav is a super helper and a
very good trainer. We are having a lot of fun and hope that his family will return with him
to visit in the future.
- May 24, 2008. Viggo and Elsa both tried for their SchH1's under SV Judge Jörg Schridde.
Unfortunately, Viggo failed with a score of 70-49-78, and refused to do the dumbbells. I
knew several days before the trial he probably was not going to do them, but decided to still
try. Elsa failed with a score of 62-74-80. She blew the last 1/2 of the track and didn't
down on the last article. We learned where we need to focus on more training. Many thanks
to SV Judge Jörg Schridde, for agreeing to come judge our trial on short notice. We had a
great time and hope you will come back again.
- March 7-11, 2008. We were very fortunate to host Bernhard Flinks for a working seminar.
We learned a lot and everyone had a great time under Bernhard's training direction. It was
a pleasure to meet him and we look forward to Bernhard returning again soon.
- February 4, 2008, Elsa's Official OFA results...Hips - GOOD, Elbows - Normal.
- February 1, 2008, Odessa's OFA Preliminary results...Hips - GOOD, Elbows - Negative.
- January 25, 2008, Nicholas zur Bindenburg arrives at Kennel von der Traum Wolfen. Nicho
is a son of V-Gismo von der Mohnwiese, IPO3, SchH3, KKL1 and SG-Vienna von der
Sägmühle, SchH2 and KKL2. Thanks to Dean and Karla Calderon for such a nice puppy!
- November 23-27, 2007, Viggo, Elsa, Odessa and I train again with Heiko Grube and Joachim
Niemeyer from Germany. We enjoy their friendship, visit and training and look forward to
our Trial, September 26-28, 2008 when they will be back again.
- September 16, 2007, Odessa earns VP1 and Elsa earns SG under SV Johann Nizsler.
- September 15, 2007, Elsa and Viggo both earn TR1 under SV Johann Nizsler.
- September 14, 2007, Elsa earns her BH under SV Johann Nizsler.
- June 30 - July 5, 2007 Elsa, Viggo and I participated in a Training Seminar with SV Heiko
Grube and Joachim Niemeyer from Germany. They put on a fabulous training seminar...train...
train...train, while they where here with our club. We learned a lot, had a great time and
can't wait for them to come back again next year.
- July 1, 2007, Elsa earns her AD under SV Heiko Grube, SV Press Secretary and 2xBSP
participant.
- June 17, 2007, Elsa's older 1/2 brother Danger earns his SchH1 under USA Randell Hoadley.
- Odessa vom Haus Pe-Ja arrives April 5, 2007 from Germany. She is the daughter of V-
Melano vom Cap Arkona, SchH3, KKL1 and V-Aischa vom Haus Pe-Ja, SchH3, KKL1.
- March 18, 2007, Elsa's older 1/2 brother Depco earns SchH3 in Belgium with a score of
96-96-97.
- February 25, 2007, Elsa's older 1/2 brother Depco earns SchH2 in Belgium with a score of
95-95-96.
- Elsa's older 1/2 brother Depco earns SchH1 in Belgium with a score of 70-97-99.
